From your child’s first dance class to their graduation performance, TPD has a class for everyone! We specialize in beginners of all ages and offer training through pre-professional levels.
All classes held at TPD are taught by certified dance instructors who live by Turning Point’s philosophies. Every student at Turning Point benefits from our positive and exciting learning environment.

Certifications & partnerships
All of our instructors are required to complete YPAD training
Our entire staff is required complete YPAD (Youth Protection Advocates In Dance®) certification course. In the YPAD course, TPD staff learn valuable educational practice techniques including CPR/First Aid, abuse awareness & prevention, injury prevention & response, and safety & emergency preparedness. Bringing your student to a YPAD Certified studio also ensures that all staff have undergone background checks and have been determined safe to work around children (we can’t stress how important that is!!!!)
YPAD has allowed our dance professionals to dive deeper into the wellness and development of youth dancers. Through these educational certified courses, our dance professionals gain a more comprehensive skill-set to work with and understand young students.

Turning point steps program
Our Student Teaching Education Program has been created for students who uphold and demonstrate Turning Point Dance Studio LLC’s core values to become ambassadors of the studio. STEP is a in-studio education program that promotes the love of dance and instructional methods to our students. The chosen students/applicants will be guided through the dance education process using methods such as in-class training, hands-on practice, instructor mentoring, research-based activities, self-analysis assignments and more. TPD’s STEP Program provides the necessary STEPping stones for building confident, hardworking, well-informed, and eager dance educators for the future.
